Earlier than he made Star Wars, George Lucas directed a tough sci-fi film titled THX 1138 a few dystopian future the place humanity takes medicine to suppress their feelings. (Whereas the film is pretty obscure, you most likely know its title as a result of Lucas named his sound firm, THX, after it.) This week’s episode of Andor is filled with references to THX 1138, largely visible ones: The way in which the characters put on all-white jumpsuits and stay in all-white rooms, whereas they toil away in underground services.

That’s one of many many Easter eggs, Star Wars (and George Lucas) references, and little particulars you may need missed in Episode 9 of Andor. In our newest Star Wars video, we break down all of them, together with the recurring picture and concept of fish trapped in nets, parallels between the Insurgent and Imperial characters plotlines and life conditions, the scene that echoes a near-identical shot from Star Wars: A New Hope, and the connection between Andor and The Shawshank Redemption. Watch all of them under:
