The Suicide Squad director and DC Studios Co-CEO James Gunn has taken to Twitter to handle allegations that he casts his spouse, actress Jennifer Holland, in a number of DC initiatives.

Responding to a Twitter person who informed him to “cease placing your spouse in each DC undertaking,” Gunn denied that this was true. The director defined that the one film that he had personally forged Holland in was The Suicide Squad and that some other DC movie appearances occurred whereas he was engaged on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 for Marvel Studios. The director then stated that he is aware of “a few of you’re deeply in want of causes to hate.”

Suicide Squad director David Ayer tweeted his help of Gunn, saying that “the excessive street of positivity and creation will at all times win.” Ayer then informed Gunn that he has “the toughest job in Hollywood” and that he’ll make it look simple and enjoyable, to which Gunn responded, “You’re one of the best.”

The DC Universe’s first part, referred to as Chapter One: Gods and Monsters, will function a mess of various motion pictures and tv exhibits. A couple of of the introduced initiatives embody Superman: Legacy, a Batman and Robin-focused film referred to as The Courageous and the Daring, a Supergirl film titled Supergirl: Girl of Tomorrow, a Swamp Factor movie, and a number of TV exhibits.
