Kim Kardashian is honoring her beloved grandma MJ.
Shortly after information broke that Kris Jenner‘s mother handed away at 91, the SKIMS creator took to Instagram to pay tribute to Mary Jo Shannon. Alongside footage of them all through the years, Kim wrote:
“My candy Grandma MJ, my greatest good friend, my gossip buddy, my endlessly twin… You taught all of us the significance of household, and people values are one thing we’ll carry with us endlessly!!!!! You have been the lady who confirmed me what it meant to be a hardworking businesswoman. You gave me my very first job at your retailer in San Diego and taught me classes about work ethic, energy, and confidence that I’ve carried with me ever since. You all the time believed in me, championed me, and have been my protected place. You really have been the matriarch of our household, and your love is woven into all of us.”

Though it’s unhappy to say goodbye, Kim expressed that she is aware of MJ is “at peace now.” She concluded:
“Give Papa Harry, Aunt Karen, and my dad a hug for me. You’ll all the time be part of me, I like you soooooo a lot and I’ll miss you endlessly and ever. YOU ARE THE BEST OF US!!! I do know you might be up in heaven, taking a look at all of our Instagram posts of you out of your sneaky finsta account you’d all the time use lol”
